Hotel Belvedere

Worst place ever! Absolutely not recommended. A bunch of lies when we made the reservation over the phone. If you don’t wanna get sick, do yourself a favor: DON’T stay there. We stayed there a Friday night Aug 4th, room 416. We paid about €300, we expected a decent place for that. When we went inside, the room tiles were broken, mold in the bathroom, very strong odor of mold, room very small. We had to ask for soap in the bathroom. Not sure how they stay in business like that. When these were mentioned to the staff, there was not even an apology. Nothing offered to make it right. Parking is a joke. They ask for your license plate, but they don’t offer parking.

The rooms are clean, the towels are changed daily, the rooms are cleaned every 2 days, AC, safe in the room. Very good food and very diverse. Daily other very tasty dishes. Finlandia vodka, quality whiskey, fine wines, champagne, boxed Santal juices, carbonated Pepsi juices, coffee, tea, draft Bergenbier beer are served during mealtimes for free... The only problem is the lack of parking spaces. Oh ... not to forget ... MOSQUITOES eat us at night, it would be good for insect nets on the balcony

- Parking spaces for electric cars are permanently occupied by other cars. When you talk to the reception, they say that they have nothing to do. - The food compared to the last years is like in the canteen. It has dropped a lot in quality. The dishes are often not clean. - The reception staff prefers to be on the phone rather than helping you if you have problems. - Smell of mold in the room. - The swimming pool leaves much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The animations for children were very nice. Also the view, but it's not enough to make you stay longer or come back. We won an extra night and with all that we left 3 nights earlier. At the time of Check-out, I was not asked at all why I was leaving sooner or if something had happened. It was a dry "OK" answer. When I filled out a satisfaction questionnaire, the young lady did not put it in the urn, maybe to throw it away, so that there would be as few negative reviews as possible. I had a very good image and opinion about this hotel and what this hotel promised, but it is not what it used to be.
